I truly believe the class of royalty in which Kate adheres to and promotes is the very way God desires His girls to act, pursue and even demand despite what culture may dictate. I think of so many verses. "We're adopted into His family as HIS sons and daughters!" Ephesians 1:5. If Jesus is the King that makes you and I princesses and princes. Royalty. Romans 8:17 says, "Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
Heirs. Heirs of God.... Not the Queen that God made but God himself... wow...... Just think of that.
So as I watched this with Brea I pointed out a few things. The way William treats her. So gentle and respectful. Though they love each other and young newlyweds they don't have their lips pasted to each other but quite contrary pushing the limits a bit with even a brief kiss at the wedding. Do they kiss??? OF COURSE!! Come on... BUT it's intimate. It's for them. Each other, not the entire world. I thought of Song of Songs 1:4 "let the king draw me to his chambers." And how the King's chambers their intimate lives were off limits to anyone.
I pointed out even in the dragon races, Kate was trying to switch places with one of the guys at her request while it was moving but the guy was so worried that he would touch her! You are not to touch Royalty physically at all. It's frowned upon. Now imagine that, her body and being is totally respected not to be touched except by those she touches. I believe that God's desire for His young women's bodies is the same. Hence his desire for purity and holiness. He wants His ladies given to one of His sons and only him. Song of Songs 7:10 captures the purity of true love in "I belong to my lover and His desire is for me." That is absolute mutual love shared only between the two. Or the command in Paul's command to Timothy (1 Tim 5:2) "Treat younger women like sisters with absolute purity."
Then they showed Kate and William and her dress had blown up with a gush of wind and they were saying how the Queen had to tell her that they need to wear weighted hems to avoid any dresses flying up. Now granted Kate has beautiful legs that any girl would want to show off and again... no not appropriate. Hmmm... so opposite the way some of our young seem to flaunt so much of their bare bodies. Now I'm not saying you need to wear a paper bag or dress as a nun, but look at the class and dignity this princess chooses to display even in her choice of garments.
The more I spend time in my intimate relationship with God and talking with our Lord and seeing His ways through scripture I realize the high price He's paid to given us His Name. HIS NAME.... Yes. I belong to King Jesus. I'm a citizen of heaven, divine royalty. I'm an alien here to earth, scripture reminds me, and the enemy, the prince of darkness, the one desperately working to steal and destroy the dignity that Christ has already given me, has no hold on me.
Young people... arise.. stand to the dignity Christ has called you. 1 Tim 4:12... Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young but SET and EXAMPLE in life, love, faith, speech and PURITY."
Be an example. We have a high calling. We belong to the ROYAL BLOODLINE....
