I don’t even know where to start since I last wrote… I have
SO SO SO many God stories that it would take a month for me to write it all
down. Those that are in our core
group and especially the eyewitnesses of our very own family can testify to the
greatness of His hand felt daily in our lives. To be honest, both Roger and I, having done ministry before
in our lives both confess to never having felt such a divine presence and
blessing in and upon us than we do right now as we step out in obedience to build
HIS church. Thank you for praying
for us. Please continue. This is where great power has been
given us.
As Roger and I sat at an Ambassador dinner a few weeks ago,
so humbled to be included in such a sought after audience, we were questioned
and shared openly about what God has been doing. Then shot out the comment I’ve
been hearing more often, “You guys really should be journaling and writing all
of this down. It’s amazing!”
Soon, Lord willing, you will be able to see for yourself on
our church website. Roger
and I got a peak at it yesterday and were completely humbled at how amazing it
is; a gift from God himself.
There are so many revelations and thoughts I want to share
but I feel compelled to take this moment to address the “ladies”. (Guys, perhaps you can share this with
a lady in your life?)
I see women worn out, hurt, tossed aside, trying so hard to
please so many for all the wrong reasons, hardened, beating themselves up,
trying to fit a mold of perfection that is complete “marketed deception”,
purposeless, floundering, anxious, depressed, … I could go on, but to be honest…
I get it. I see the enemy is up to
old tricks by working hard on the women.
For if they fall so often the men too will fall for a man’s greatest
weakness is a woman. I’ll prove
this point with many scriptures.
This being the case we ought to be on our game?! Where has
our defense against such scheming gone??
Ladies.. It’s not in the pill jar, the wine bottle, the malls, 50 Shades
of Grey, diamonds, vacations, the gym, nights out, some of you can’t even look
to your husbands as there seems to be such a huge divide, or even anger and
opposition??? What is
happening? Ughhh… the enemy is
having a field day with us ladies….
And I want to encourage you that today…. Today…. You can literally say,
“Enough”. Not you, but the Christ
in you.
See as you give your heart to One, you give the control
station of your life into the hands of your very Creator; God himself. When we humble ourselves before God we
exchange our will for His. This
means we trust Him. We need His
help, ultimately for what??? FIRST
and foremost….. to feel LOVED.
Really loved. This is a
tender, tender spot for many. In a
world that is being given over to lust more and more, love, real love is
becoming more and more rare. This
is a huge epidemic to be honest and scripture drastically warns against
it. “Under 3 things the earth
TREMBLES…. An UNLOVED woman who is married.” Proverbs 30:21-23
When I felt most, unloved, abandoned, rejected it was then
that I gave my heart of many pieces to the Lord. He gave me a new heart and began to teach me and love me in
a way that was so real I have given my entire life as a result of this love. There is nothing like it.
Turn your eyes to Him, rend your heart to Him… ask Him
today… “Lord, show me, teach me, LOVE me in the real way that only you can.”
Then open His word.
Let His word speak to you.
This is HIS VOICE speaking to you.
Talk to Him.
Literally. Do you even know
HIM??? I mean really KNOW HIM?
This One that had “US” ladies.. the first at the cradle and
the last at the tomb… the ones right there at the cross… He engaged us in a
time when women WERE REJECTED by society.
He refuted even his disciples defending… YES a lady. He stood up against the Pharisees, He
healed a young daughter from death, he told a “religious leader” (Simon) he
should follow a ladies’ example in front of all his colleagues. He taught His
disciples a lesson on giving by showcasing a poor lady widow. He spoke to the
ladies while carrying the cross bleeding and dying… HE spoke to them…
why??? Because HE LOVED THEM…. His first appearance as the resurrected Christ
as to a lady… a wretched woman once so sinful… NOW a LADY who gave her heart
fully to her LORD… and truly loved Him more than life itself. For this man LOVED her in a way she’d
never known.
Oh my dear sisters… HE sees… He knows… HE LOVES…. LOVES… So
loves. Trust him to see your pain
and pour your heart a fresh to Him.
Let him rebuild you with an inner beauty that intoxicates even those
farthest from God. Everything we
see around us is temporary only the unseen is eternal. Give him your heart and let him deposit
His spirit in you fully and I promise your heart will ache for the day you
shall behold your deepest LOVER… yes Christ in all His glory, face to face as
He embraces you in a way you have never known.
I hold to this more ferverently than ever. And yes my heart doth ache more and
more to behold our One and Only.
And yet the gift He gives us here and now of Himself, with the Holy
Spirit fires me up with a passionate love because I know how LOVED I really
am.
He’s jealous for you… turn to Him.
Let Him love you.
